Who we

are

Our Values

Consistent, efficient and transparent – each of these values is deeply rooted in our DNA. They epitomise who we are, what we do and what we want to achieve.

Consequence

Our mission is clear: to protect habitats and thus preserve biodiversity. This applies in particular to the world’s rainforests, which have a major impact on our planet’s climate and whose situation is currently dramatic. Saving the animal world no longer tolerates compromises. It is in our hands. We research, report and exert pressure. We present the facts openly.

Efficiently

In order to minimise administrative costs, our association remains small and manageable. The number of members is limited. Many members also mean a lot of administrative work, which is very cost-intensive. Mission Wildlife does not want to use its donations to tame paper tigers, but to help real animals and protect their habitat. We put every cent to good use.

Transparency

Transparency is crucial for a non-profit organisation like ours in order to build trust and make it clear to our supporters what we do and how we act. For this reason, we publish an annual transparency report in which we disclose our finances and activities.

Our why

We, Sandra and Christoph, are the founders of Mission Wildlife. We are united by our shared love for our children and for nature.

There is no alternative to nature. Unfortunately, however, humans are destroying our planet. We are clearing forests, polluting oceans, lakes and rivers, overfishing the seas, emitting greenhouse gases, accelerating climate change and much more. Many people are aware of this, but when it comes to economic interests, too many close their eyes. As long as money can be made from the destruction of our planet, there will always be someone who takes advantage of it.

We are convinced that it is imperative that humanity begins to rethink, because things cannot go on like this in the long term.

It is important to us to show what the situation actually looks like, what is happening to our primeval forests, the oceans and the biodiversity on our planet and what we can do to protect them.

Thank you for being part of it. Together we are strong!
